One Week Old -- Kyler's Due Date

This cutie is already one week old -- what!?!   And it's March 5th -- his offical due date!  :)

Noone rocks us to sleep like Nana!

Where did that week fly by too?  :)  Well actually I know.  Our poor little Cupcake has jaundice that requires daily treatments, so we have spent each morning at the hospitals for testing and each afternoon and night either nursing or laying under our phototherapy blanket.  Not this mama's ideal first week when snuggles weren't available whenever I or he wanted, but our jaundice levels are dropping, so we'll take healthy.  Today was his first day that he didn't have to have the blanket and we loved it!  He stretched out so wide during his afternoon nap and this evening, Kyler and I just had skin to skin time for a couple of hours.  I kinda sorta 112% love this little man!  I look at him and cry sometimes thinking of how much I prayed for him -- how much I longed to hold him -- how blessed I am to have such a precious baby!  I cry sometimes when I remember how three years ago this wasn't the experience I had.  Mr. Nicoda is so loved and so blessed to be heaven, but I am SOOO thankful to God that Kyler gets to be in my arms! 

Praise be to God for His miracle in my life -- Kyler Jaan Hamidi!
